Dixie Youth World Series

Dixie Youth World Series

Organized in 1955, Dixie Youth Baseball has hundreds of leagues in 11 southern states. A fun baseball program for pre-teen youth with emphasis on fair play, honesty, sportsmanship and patriotism, Dixie Baseball is the nation’s second leading youth baseball program (behind Little League). More than 400,000 recreational baseball players participate each year in America’s favorite pastime.

The City of Laurel, Mississippi will make Dixie Baseball history when it hosts the 2016 Dixie Youth World Series. The Laurel Parks & Recreation will host five different world series: AA (Machine-Pitch and Coach Pitch), AAA, Ozone and Majors. These events will be held during a two-week period in late July and early August.
